Centralized Monitoring in a Multi-Cloud Environment: Our Experience Integrating CMP and KloudFuse
Keywords:

For businesses, administration and monitoring of apps across many other cloud platforms has become increasingly too complex in these recent years. Every cloud provider has different tools, metrics & visibility criteria, therefore making it difficult to get a consistent view of infrastructure performance & the condition. Oftentimes, this fragmentation leads to inefficiencies, blind spots & delayed event response times. Our business had identical difficulties growing across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We begin a process to centralize their monitoring by merging a Cloud Management Platform (CMP) with KloudFuse, an observability platform acknowledged for its scalable & high-performance data processing capability, in order to tackle this situation. The integration process consisted of repetitious complexity. Our focus was on aggregating information from different cloud silos into a coherent dashboard so that contextual awareness and actual time alerts could be enabled. Together with CMP's governance and policy management, KloudFuse's extensive intake pipeline enabled us to monitor performance, security & cost KPIs globally without sacrificing granularity. The outcomes were revolutionary. MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery) dropped 35%; cloud expense was estimated with high accuracy; & the compliance monitoring was increased. The link allowed operational teams to move from reactive firefighting to proactive management, therefore saving time & expenses. The issues experienced, the structure of the integration roadmap & the architectural decisions guaranteeing the scalability and security of the solution are described in this case study. Whether your company is trying to improve its observability system or is starting multi-cloud adoption, our knowledge offers sensible advice and lessons that could help you negotiate your road towards centralized monitoring.
